From Outreach Services
Saint Agnes Outreach Services joyfully announces the formation of the Dorothy Day Society, comprised of Saint Agnes parishioners and others in the community who share a commitment to lessening the burdens of our neighbors in need. Society members may receive and/ or provide prayers, nourishment, information, education, supportive counseling, advocacy and referral as well as direct assistance.
The goals of the Society are:
To strengthen families and assist individuals toward personal growth and greater independence.
To establish ongoing, supportive relationships which strengthen the community.
To nurture in our guests a sense of appreciation and a desire to help others.
To provide a safety net for the most vulnerable in our community.
Saint Agnes Outreach Services collaborates with several local agencies and organizations to respond to varied needs. Organizations with whom we work include, but are not limited to:
