This is a reminder to please wear a mask for the duration of Mass as an act of charity toward your fellow parishioners. Research suggests that we wear masks not only for our own safety, but even more for the safety of our neighbors.
Parishioners feel unsafe coming to Mass when those around them are not wearing masks. Children under the age of 2 and adults with certain health conditions are unable to wear masks. As a large parish, it is challenging to meet the spiritual and physical needs of everyone, which is why your cooperation is so important.
At St. Agnes Parish, we are all members of the Body of Christ, with decisions that affect one another. We are asking that you follow all of the instructions that we have given as a sign of love for your neighbor, especially the most vulnerable among us, even if you are not personally concerned. This is especially important as we move further into Advent and Christmas.
We thank you in advance for your role in creating an environment of loving encounter with the living God here at Saint Agnes.
