Unfortunately, racism is a sin that is not new in our world or even in our Church. As we respond in these days to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to greater conversion in our hearts and homes and to work for greater justice in our world, it can be helpful to turn to the saints who have experienced racism themselves. We can learn from the lives of these saints, from their examples and words, and ask them to intercede for us as we work and pray for peace and justice. Click on the pictures below to learn more about saints who experienced racism themselves or who saw racism at work and were moved to work to stop it.
