We are heading into the home stretch of our three year capital campaign. Many thanks to the 10 donors who collectively gave $5,315 in March, 2011. We continue to depend on our faithful contributors who month in and month out support Catholic education here at St. Agnes. More good news about our Endowment Fund — thanks to the 2010 St. Agnes Golf Outing, an additional $8,500 has been given to the Endowment. Our fund balance now exceeds $1,270,000!

A December update on our St. Agnes Education Endowment Fund: our capital campaign pledge total is steady at $1.54M, surpassing our initial goal of $1.5M. Cash on deposit has increased to $1.24M, thanks to the ongoing generosity of our 300+ donors. There is still time to reduce your 2010 taxes as donations to our Endowment Fund are usually tax deductible. Gifts are always welcome and can be made as cash or checks, matching gifts and/or stock transfers. Stock donors can reap DOUBLE benefits by reducing taxes on capital gains AND income! We would be happy to work with donors on other charitable instruments like bequests, gifts of life insurance, life income gifts, and charitable lead trusts. Many thanks to everyone who helped with the recent March 21-22 Commitment Weekend for our Education Endowment Fund here at St. Agnes.  Pledges from the Weekend now total $34,872, made by 54 generous donors!   Combined with our home-visit campaign in the spring and summer of 2008 and our mail campaign in the fall, we have now reached our initial campaign goal of $1.5M!!!  Work will continue, but meeting this milestone is a great accomplishment.  We could not have done it without our many volunteers and the grace of the Holy Spirit.

Additional accomplishments include creation of a permanent Endowment Board as well as a School Advisory Council.  Pledges are being redeemed, an annual events(s) is being planned, and alumni lists are under development.
