Men’s Bible Study
Discovering who God intended us to be through building meaningful a relationship with Christ through His word and with one another through our service.
“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” Gen. 1:27
As the Image Bearer’s of God we are assigned a great responsibility and opportunity to see God work through our lives, “But who am I that God would choose me?” Sound familiar? Not only is it the question that you have asked yourself, it is also the Question that Moses asked God on Mount Sinai “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” And He said, “Certainly I will be with you,…” Exodus 3:11-12a
So how do I prepare to become an Image bearer of God?
Well the first thing you need to do is understand who is in control, and it’s not the man looking back at you in the Mirror. We first need to release control through a true examination of our lives through confession and commit to becoming the man that God meant for us to be. A Faithful Husband, A mentor to our children, A dedicated brother, and an Authentic follower of Jesus Christ.
St. Agnes’ Men’s Ministry is committed to helping you discover what work God is preparing in you.
There are many opportunities here for you to get involved at whatever level He is leading you.
Friday Morning Men’s Bible Study - 6:30 AM -7:30 AM in Thomas Patrick Hall, This is not your wife’s bible study or some awkward group of pompous biblical scholars trying to out do one another with their Biblical knowledge. No just a couple of dozen normal guys exploring the readings of the upcoming Sunday. We explore the historical background surrounding the messages and apply the readings to our own lives. No reservations required just come and observe or jump right in. Warning! be prepared to laugh.
Good Works - Good Works is a home repair ministry that meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month. We work on a home in the community and share our gifts and talents with the less fortunate. For more information see the Good Works information on this site.
