ANNUAL USED BOOK SALE

Annual Used Book Sale Mar. 3 – 4 after Mass.  Donations of lightly used, current adult and children books needed (no textbooks please).  Drop-off in school cafe Sun. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Are  you interested in going on an exciting journey to learn about the Catholic faith without leaving west Chester? Do you want to form lasting friendships along the way?

Join the St. Agnes Women’s Bible Study and along with creator and host Father Robert Barron, you will learn what Catholics believe and why, while being immersed in the art, architecture, beliefs, and practices of the Catholic tradition.

Filmed in 50 locations throughout 15 countries, the Catholicism DVD series is on-location and in the streets illustrating the splendor of the global Church.

MARCH MADNESS

 Registration for our intramural basketball program is NOW.  March Madness is open to all parishioners in grades 1-8. First graders enjoy instructional clinics each Saturday morning while grades 2-8 play one or two games per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, and Saturdays during the month of March.  The cost is $15 for the first child and $10 for each additional family member which includes a t-shirt.  For information or a registration form contact Monica Killoran by email – monicakilloran@verizon.net   Registration closes Friday,February 3rd.

ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS

 The State of Pennsylvania has passed a law requiring an additional requirement to Background Checks for those working with and around children and young people. Employees and volunteers must sign a form certifying that they have never been guilty of any of these additional crimes. Volunteers for school , CCD, CYO, Scouts and any other activity involving children  must complete this step by March 1,2012. Contact the rectory or  the school for more information.

All Ushers are invited to a meeting following the 10:30 Mass on Sunday, February 5^th in the Chapel.

We would also like to invite any men and women of high school age and above to join to discern offering their time as well to this ministry. We would like to increase our ranks so that during times of illness, vacations and when there are added Masses i.e. Christmas and Easter, we may have sufficient trained Ushers to assist.
